Please tell me the vocals aren't going to be like this all the way through the whole album. The music is actually pretty cool. But not only are the vocals a poor Cookie Monster imitation, but they are totally buried in the mix so you can barely hear them.
Musically it sounds to me like the first Machine Head album. Vocally it sounds like reheated turd.
If the vocals were at least seated properly it would make a big difference. Even crappy vocals over good music makes a decent CD. But I'm sorry, buried vocals like this make a disc un-listenable to me. Something to keep in mind for their next release. The ethereal keyboards are actually mixed higher than the vocals.
